Congratulations to Mrs. Lisa Stewart, 1st grade teacher at Scott Elementary! Mrs. Stewart recently completed an exciting yet rigorous four day STEM Education Professional Development experience this summer centered around aviation and aeronautics at Air Camp in Dayton, OH. The event culminated in the opportunity to pilot an actual aircraft from the left seat under the direction of an FAA Certified Flight Instructor. Air Camp hosted students and teachers from a total of 25 different states across the nation. At the core of every Learning Module is the intent to best understand how to effectively utilize the curiosity in aviation within the classroom by applying STEM content to state and national standards. Congratulations Mrs. Stewart, you've made SES proud! #19EveryStudent
