We love the Scott Elementary PTO! Today, the PTO made its first Sunshine Cart delivery to our teachers and staff. Throughout the year, the PTO makes surprise visits to our teachers to deliver some goodies and offer a pick-me-up. We are beyond spoiled to have one of the best PTOs in the business. Thank you to all of our volunteers.....we could not do what we do with YOU! #SESPride #19EveryStudent
Congratulations to Scott Elementary's STAR Students for the month of September! Ms. Vogt's Kindergarten class is learning about the math concepts of greater than, less than, and equal to. In kindergarten this means getting to fill a pretend ice cream cone with a partner and comparing scoops. #19everystudent

Mrs. Gould's Kindergarten class is having fun learning their letters. They often use sand to form the letters in a kinethetic way. There are always smiles when they can have fun and learn at the same time. #19everystudent

SES First Graders had Mr. and Mrs. Pease, authors of the book, "It's Time to Say Goodbye", stop by for a read aloud! This book is a great read for students who are going through a Military move or PCS. They based the main character after their first grade son, Hunter! Thank you both for the visit! #SESPride #19EveryStudent
SES Kindergarteners turned into surgeons last Friday! Our amazing kindergarten teachers converted their rooms from classrooms to operating rooms to help reinforce skills such as open/closed syllables, compound words, sight words, and ways to make 10. Surgery Day was a fun, rewarding, and memorable day for our students. Great job to our kindergarten team, and we want to send a heartfelt "thank you" to the volunteers who assisted in the operating rooms!
