🎉 What a wonderful first week at Wingate! 🎉 Our students and staff filled the building with excitement, smiles, and positive energy as we began another great school year together! Throughout the week, Mrs. Enriquez & Ms. Mulvihill visited each grade level, spent time getting to know students, and shared special read-alouds centered on important character lessons. It was a wonderful way to remind our students about kindness, perseverance, belonging, and the power of “yet!” A big thank you to our amazing Wingate retirees who returned to welcome our students and staff back to school. Their smiles, signs, and continued love for Wingate made our first day even more special. We are excited to announce there are two part time supervisor job openings for high school students at Wingate for the 2026-27 school year. These positions are for our Extended Time after school care program. Please see the link if you have a student or know of a student that would be interested.

🌧️ Mother Nature brought lots of rain today on Wingate's Field Day but we pivoted to an afternoon of indoor team-building. We are so proud of our students for their flexibility and sportsmanship. WES 5th graders took a field trip to Busch Stadium! Students learned about the science behind hitting a baseball, the legendary St. Louis Cardinals logo, and baseball around the world. They also enjoyed a tour of the stadium! #19WESPride #19EveryStudent
