MSD19's Brandy Goodwin, Director of Food Service, was recently interviewed by “Tray Talk” for their national blog, which is a collaboration with the School Nutrition Association.
The focus of the interview was MSD19's VIPizza meal ticket program that was implemented this school year. Our Food Service Team wanted to make meals fun and engaging. After seeing schools use hidden-ticket giveaways, Brandy said. "... I knew it would be a great fit, just with our own spin. That’s how the idea for a full VIPizza Day experience was born!” Every month, the Food Service Team hides tickets, and the lucky students who find them win the VIPizza Meal (Big Daddy Pizza, fruit and vegetable sides, milk, and fresh-baked cookies). Winners can invite a friend to have lunch with them—and at MHS the winners can invite up to four friends!
